
In 2022, he received the award for Best Performance at the 66th International Festival of Contemporary Music of the Venice Biennale. His latest CDs include Susu (Ema Vinci Contemporanea), Roots (Naxos) and Sonazzos (Stradivarius).
Since 2011, he has been a member of the Duo Dubois together with saxophonist Alberto Cavallaro, a project created with the aim of promoting and creating a new repertoire for this ensemble, thanks to collaboration with numerous composers.
He has participated in numerous international festivals, including Biennale di Venezia, Milano Musica, Angelica, Festival Luigi Nono, Sound Plasma, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Sonemus, Lund Contemporary, Bozar Next Generation, Zindering, MACRO, Unerhörte Musik, Festival DME, Spazio Musica and ZZM Klagenfurt.
He has also received support from major scholarships, including Lyra Stiftung, Hirschmann Foundation, Geert und Lore Blanken Schlemper Stiftung and GAI – Giovani Artisti Italiani.
He completed his studies at the Conservatory of Vibo Valentia under the guidance of Vittorino Naso, graduating cum laude and honors. He later specialized in the contemporary percussion repertoire, studying with Brian Archinal at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland.
